The Gaza thing is a tragedy and a genocide BUT a Black district need representatives that will address unique ADOS/FBA problems such as incarceration, lack of economic mobility, and healthcare. Progressive politics are good but Tlaib seems to be more focused on immigrants and Palestine issues. Why would Black folks in Detroit elect her?

She's a democrat so for a lot of us, we think that means that will automatically be good for us even if an agenda for us is not part of the democratic agenda.

Black folks ain't exactly pro-Israel, so supporting Muslims is a winning strategy....but yeah, you gotta deliver at some point.....but that assumes a challenger comes along that calls her out.

You call yourself Voice Of Reason yet your gripes are secluded to a dinosaur message board. You're not on TikTok or IG or Twitter or YouTube. If you were serious about these issues you'd be more visible on bigger platforms that have a realistic reach. Showing your face on these bigger platforms with visuals of you actually engaging with the people would give you credibility.

Rashida 12th district is not majority Black. It’s parts of Suburban Detroit but it’s mostly Dearborn (which contains the highest concentration of Muslims in the country). The Palestinian struggle is by far their biggest complaint right now
