How is D'angela Russell doing this season

He was suppose to come in more polished than Kyrie outside of handles


Not to mention known worldwide as the biggest snitch in the NBA

Maybe if he spent more time playing basketball than counting push ups he would play better

Well, he's just 20 years old, there's still time. You're talking about just 97 games.

But there doesn't appear to be any significant improvement in his game.
When a guy only averages 3 FT attempts per game, it says he doesn't go to the basket enough.

Russell should take more of a traditional PG role...which is to say facilitate the offense until his shot develops more.
He doesn't have the skill set to be a modern scoring PG just yet.

His numbers per 36 min don't look horrendous for a 20 year old kid though.

Yep I'm not even a fan of his but he has played well especially when you factor in the injury and that 12 man rotation Walton is running.
