Its like a riddle.

Everyone thinks Westbrook should be MVP this year but no one would pick him over Wall, Haden, Etc.

Why would you pick Westbrook with Houston's roster?

He wouldn't pass to any of the shooters
Correct me if I'm wrong, but averaging over 10 assists in 82 games requires some passing.

And I doubt Westbrook would hesitate to pass when he has snipers that can consistently knock down from long distance and get their own shot if need be.

And Harden's flopping is even less enjoyable to watch than Russell's shot jacking.

You can be the greatest ball hog the world has ever seen and still average 10 assist He also average 5 TO per game as well.

harden vision is better than westbrook.

which is why the ball was in his hands in the 4th over westbrook when they were on the same team.

And Harden has even more turnovers than him despite having a lower usage rate. :ohhh:

So they can shoot at damn near the same percentages...

Russ - .425 FG%, 34.3% from 3

Harden - .44 FG%, 34.7% from 3

But since Harden has a couple sixth man of the year calibre players and less offensive liabilities surrounding him a lot of the pressure is taken off of him from actually having to produce offense.

Bball IQ Russ is very productive but makes terrible choices with shot selection and when to keep his team involved plus he had the highest usage in nba history great player but there's a ceiling with that style of play
