How is Your Relationship with Your High School Class?

I feel like I could have probably gotten to know some folks better as kids, but folks had their little cliques, even though we all knew each other. Now folks have jobs, kids, houses, its like everybody is hella chill with each other online. When we have our next reunion, it's going to be a good time.

I talk to maybe 5-6 people I graduated with on a occasional basis.

Most of the nikkas I was cool with went to the military or school. Didn’t do either so fell outta contact with em.

before FB was launched i kept in contact with a few that im close to this day (with the exception of my former best friend and one of my homegirls), after FB launched a good amount of them are on so I have an idea of what they are doing..some ive run into and what not and its all love but im not as close to them as the ones i knew pre FB launch

I'm not saying it's going to turn into made for TV, happily ever after, but I can definitely see some genuine appreciation of having a common history that only we share.

We determined out of a graduating class of probably 400, 11 have passed away, one as recently as this year. So I think that type of awareness also has opened our eyes.

We pushing 40 and I see some nikkaz still on high school shyt. Others in and out of jail. Some trying to be rappers. Some married with kids after doing the college thing. I don't really talk to none of them except for like my 1 homeboy who been down since middle school. After 1 of my homeboys died 2 years back I really didn't see any need of going back to see what's up with the old crew. Friends are there for a season and when that's over you move on in life. I think too many people force friends too last forever and in the end they get fukk over some how. If your not on no entrepreneurial wave you getting dubbed ASAP.
New energy needs new friends with same energy. I'll replace those old friends with people I meet at meetups or conventions.

I only talk to 1 but my nicca since the 6th grade..we have been friends since we were jits...other than that I really don't nor care to.

I don't really talk to anyone like that. Most of them are living successful lives. One is a semi bro wrestler, one is a body builder, one is professional photographer but most are married and or parents. I'm proud to have come a neighborhood of such nice and successful people.

My H.S. Reunion is this Saturday and I will NOT be attending! I will never ever attend another reunion! Went to the first one and that was the last time I will go to anything related to H.S.!

Hope those folks have fun and the only people I am cool with are the very few people I K.I.T with on social media...

I went to a very white school. I could go the rest of my life without seeing any of those cacs again and be perfectly fine, even the brehs and brehettes I went to school with I don’t fukk with and never will excluding one kid

It's been 10 years since I graduated high school and I only speak to 1 person from there. Its not that I don't like em anymore friendship is based on proximity when your young.

i keep in contact with them a little bit, but mostly superficial.
