No they don't. I dont hear anybody talk about them around here. Drill music is like punk rock. Its too messy and disorganized. People want organized chaos in their music. A bunch of children making play play guns and slurring off beat don't appeal to most people. It may build a little niche in the north east but it will never be as big as trap.

because Chicago doesn't have the same influence as Los Angeles.
Kids weren't just influenced by the bloods and crips, it was the whole culture surrounding L.A. in the early 90s. the L.A. Riots, the Boyz N The Hood type movies, Tupac and Death Row, the 2,000 murders per year, etc.

Back in the day... nikkas "Was" thinking about L.A. like that... from L.A. hood movies, the Riots, Low Riders, Mexican Gangs, The Chronic album, SnoopDogg(Crip), Tupac, Suge Knight(Blood), Death Row Records(Bloods and Crips)... West Coast culture as a whole was sweeping the country.

Interesting thread. I don't think it'll spread since there are no specific or noteworthy differences between the Chiraq gangs. Everyone knows about Bloods and Crips, red and blue. The c-walk is iconic, and multiple aspects of Cali gang shyt are recognizable around the world. I know people from Europe who ask me about Crips and Bloods, as if they're political parties or some shyt lol
