I mean the CLEAR stars should be Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock...and yet Kendrick is getting all of the marketing dollars over there. They could easily be the "ASAP FERG" to Kendrick's "Rocky"

They just signed S.I.R. and he could have been competing with Anderson Paak for dominance of that alt-R&B scene and we we've heard nothing from him. Not even a fukking marketing photo.

Who is running things over there? And why are they so lazy?

Drop Flab Soul and focus on actually putting content out.

This ain't 2002. Schoolboy Q is way too talented to be treating him like a dog in a kennel. His brand is catered to what MMG or even OVO does. I mean ANY other boutique label can handle artists better than what TDE claims its doing.

SZA had to beg to drop SOMETHING just to make her wet her palette and give her some direction.

Where is Isaiah Rashad? Are they having any luck releasing K.Dot leftovers with him?

TDE is still doing better though. Not everyone on TDE is signed to a major like everyone on OVO is.

You mean Jay Rock, the guy not signed to a major, isn't getting the marketing dollars that Kendrick, a guy signed to a major, is getting?

Anderson's a different beast than S.I.R., don't think they're in the same lane.

Lets clear this all up right now. Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q are TDE's ONLY artists signed to Interscope, and Sza recently signed to RCA which is why her project is finally rolling out.




They are pretty much the ONLY artists with major deals and large marketing dollars behind them. Solo, Jay Rock, Zay, etc. are only signed to Top Dawg.



Same thing with ASAP Mob.. Rocky and Ferg are with RCA/Polo Grounds, and Carti recently signed with Interscope...but Nast, Twelvvy, Marty Baller and the rest of them nikkas don't have major deals and marketing dollars/budgets.
