How long before we see extended lifespans/pseudo immortality?

I wouldn’t mind living a few extra decades but nothing beyond that. It would be too hard thinking about how my loved ones that passed already aren’t around.
I'll gladly take both. I think we'll have a major breakthrough when I'm already an old man, unfortunately.

Most definitely. They'll drip feed this to the masses to milk it for all they can just like symptom management vs cure but it is inevitable.

Death is the ultimate reality check. It ain’t going anywhere. People can go on believing and pretending to be whatever they like for their entire life. But one day, that will all end, they will return to face nothing but FACTS.
What makes you assume immortality will result in suffering? There is barely any time to really get shyt done as it is.
