Somebody told me 1 of their people tried to register here around 4 or 5 days ago but still haven't been verified, how long should it take? Is there a backlog at the moment or something?

Maybe everyone's asleep lol. An international mod may be a good idea as they could deal with shyt at different times.
Or maybe they just don't give a fukk about it. 
What do you mean by verified ? Receive the validation email ?
Just so they are able to post, I think they still are unable to.
Usually the process is super quick :
- sign in
- receive email to validate email address
- confirm email address by clicking the link in the mail or copy/paste it
- post on the Coli.
Can the person retry the sign in process ? With the same or with another screen name to see what happens.
From what I gather they are able to log in and everything it's just they haven't been cleared to post yet, think it's waiting to be approved. In this case, will it be approved soon or will they have to re sign up as because it's been over the normal time there is some kind of issue?

This sounds weird. Only restriction possible would be the ability to post in JBO which requires a certain amount of posts before be able to. Otherwise, I don't know.

Don't think they are cleared to post at all yet anywhere. Cool, I could PM someone his username if that is helpful if someone is able to do it manually or whatever. Just let me know.
