It sounds like she was dissing Camel and Bey and their Stans in that song...Having said that, everyone has a price..If Roc Nation cuts that check she'll be making songs about nothing over Timbaland beats a year from now..

lol that's exactly what she was doing. Dissing Bey and Jay even though she's from fukking New Zealand and they actually have royals in the British :bryan:

Where the young black singers at!? :damn:
Oh that's right they too busy trying to be the next Draya. :snoop:

Their just not making this type of music. :yeshrug: last chick who did was MIA and she's not black, but of color. Santigold is hott. Janelle Monae was supposed to fill a void but she's :trash:

Gotta agree somewhat... Her looks, style and live performance is smoke and mirrors to hide the fact her music just isn't very good...I wouldn't call it trash, its just doesnt do anything for me....

I like the chick and I want her to succeed. She's got talent but her music is just corny man. It's just not hott.

Good Catch fellas.

Lorde wrote the song in July 2012, inspired in part by the Jay-Z–and–Kanye West collaborative album Watch the Throne.

“I really enjoyed it,” she says. “I can get absorbed in Kanye’s world, but a part of me is always like, ‘This is kind of bullshyt’—all the crazy extravagances he’s talking about. And I started listening to a lot more top-40 music, and realized a lot of the stuff isn’t very relatable to anyone’s lives.”
