I see them at airports more. For me i wear one when I'm sick to protect others

And that’s what they’re technically for. Not spreading things to others. So when I see people in them it makes me a bit anxious because I assume they’re sick instinctually.

I wish people were mask more and practiced better hygiene. Even if I have the cold, I'll wear a mask to protect my family and always keep my hands clean.

Ain’t that the swine flu mask? What type of virus is going around?

Yes, although I’ve heard mixed messages about how effective they are with this new virus (2019-ncov aka novel Coronavirus)

it will likely be similar to swine flu in terms of being a mild pandemic..

“swine flu infected nearly 61 million people in the United States and caused 12,469 deaths.”

But The case mortality rate seems to be closer to 1% with this tho based on everything we know (mostly China’s numbers) so worst case.. if 60 million ppl contracted it (very likely) those mortality numbers might look a lot worse.

fingers crossed that as more studies and cases come out, the mortality rate will drops drastically
