Car dealers/manufactures are running on business leases and regular leases. They will start off the base lease price low but with added features hike the price up to really see high margins

Thrse companies want that retail price and not wholesale price. Backup cameras should be standard for any car made during the last 7 years. Jacking up the rates is just another bubble thats going to burst.

Smart business. I imagine rich people that buy cars like that are not aware of what is really going on with technology. They probably think park assist, BSM, etc... are new exclusive features that the world has not seen so of course they will drop the cash.

I say this because I remember one of my aunt's husband is pretty well off and once he was bragging about how cool his Mercedes is because it has lane assist. My sister was like "Yeah...So does my Camry nikka"

And you know what? The average Range Rover driver could give 2 fukks. That truck is basically an SUV status symbol simple and most of those buyers will just lease the thing fully loaded for 3 years and give it back.

going back and fourth for repairs beyond scheduled maint is a pain in the ass
