How many black people work at your job?

I'd say most of the people I work with are black...

On my floor it's probably 60% white and 40% black. I can't speak about the other floors but I know that there are some floors that are 90% black/10% white and some others it's vise vera.

I have three black people I work with in my office, two women, one man. One of women is a partner at the talent management firm that I work at (smart as fukk), and the other is a singer (hawt as fukk). The man is an MMA fighter (tough as fukk) on track to make his pro debut soon.

I work in EMS so we ride in pairs... Of the 6 blacks here, I've ridden with 2 of them(once each) but I've ridden with everybody else multiple times...
But nah I don't hang with any of them outside of work... One of them I'm real cool with but he gotta family and shyt so he never really has time.. We're in a fantasy football league together though..

Roughly 1/4 to 1/3 of the guys in my fraternity when I was an undergraduate were black, and they tended to be the most involved with the house's activities. We always partied together, so it became a natural impulse to gravitate toward black people in social situations when I didn't know anyone in a totally new group. In law school it confused some people to have some dorky Mexican student act so friendly for reasons unbeknownst to them, but I'm a good person to people (at least I like to think) so it was cool.
In academia they encourage minorities to stick together. Why/how does your job keep you from riding together?
I work for a privately owned ambulance service and the family that owns it does not have the best reputation around the city. I could scream racism but thats just not me.
Basically we get scheduled with different partners every shift and the only 2 times I've worked with a black here were when my original partner called out.
