I don't know. Maybe. But they certainly aren't winning a ship with how that roster is currently structured. No shooting whatsoever and no player that can drive to the rim on the regular. They'd be a second round team, at the very max.

the pistons have better offensive weapons than the bulls, they're deeper, and guys like josh smith and drummond would be defensive monsters with thibs

No denying that, but here's the thing, no team will ever win a championship with Smith starting at the 3 as one of the main guys. They don't have a proper #1 option, Jennings and Smith would be their 1a 1b options and there's no way that a squad can win a championship like that.
