Slaves do work they hate. Doing things you hate for long periods of time kills your subconscious and makes you stupid. So your life is wasted and now you try to produce another generation. So now you have to raise your kid after making yourself stupid and optimistically have them instructed on how not to be stupid. The problem is that they are going to emulate stupid slave shyt you learned. So maybe they turn out half-stupid.

I'd say 2 generations (not an expert), and that's if you become a fully equal member of said society immediately, which is almost impossible. That is because it requires the one that kept you in bondage to suddenly have a moral awakening and increased respect level for the freed slave. The only time the oppressor respects the oppressed that quickly is when there is consistent violent rebellion.

In our case we aren't completely equal members of society, and until we are it will be very difficult for us as a people to rise on our own. The reason we don't rise the way some other ethnicities do is because we are disjointed and not ununited (the Coli is a good example of this). Integration along with other tactics of selective victimization help keep our minds in a state I'm not sure many of us want to leave.
