How many happily married couples do you know?

I know I know, another "marriage" thread.

Just chill this one hopefully will be a little different.

We all know the #GMB brehs will come in here and try to derail but I just have a question.

Found out today that my cousin and his wife are having some problems. Some MAJOR problems. Without going into it, they've been married since 2008 and are already at the "sleeping in other rooms" phase. Got me to thinking... I had about 10 friends / family members who got married between 2007-2011, and all of them except one are either on the outs or have already gotten divorced.

Of those folks, all but one share a common theme: Everything changed after the kids arrived.

So I ask, how many happily married couples do you know? How long have they been married and do they have any kids? Seems like happiness after children is very elusive out there.

no way to say this without coming off as a bitter coli poster but this is probably a result of picking partners mainly based on looks instead of who they are as people.

parenting is a 24/7 job and most adults are mental midgets when it comes to responsibility. couple that with victim complex being en vogue and partners would rather blame each other instead of taking responsibility for their fukk ups.

I don't know any. No one in my family is married

None of my Friends are and we don't have kids even though we in our late 30s

If you ain't cut from the cloth of true players you gonna know married people and people with kids

The only miserable ones I know of, either don't communicate, don't make time for just them, or it was simply doomed from the start.

Everyone else just goes through the normal up and downs of every other relationship.

I don't know how many years they've been married but I assume over 15+ years all have children in their teens.

I don't know about others personal situations so none. shyt could be fukked behind the scenes. I do think I have a happy marriage and are told by many people we meet that we are perfect for each other. Lots of people at the gym call us they're favorite couple cause we're always so happy.
