How many hours/months did you practice driving before you took your road test?

For me it was about 6 months but that’s because I was in college and working at that time so as a result I barely had enough free time to practice. :yeshrug:

It paid off in the end though because I ended up passing the road test on my first try.

3 days? You serious? :wtf:
Dead-ass.

Hyundai Sonata. She's always driven manual transmission cars. Took me out to a Mall parking lot that we had to get to by a route taking us along several back roads, a couple main roads, and 2 highways. Then, back home.

Took me a half-hour to get shifting down so I didn't stall. After that, we were off.

Took some lessons, never learned how to parallel park though, my boy drove me to the shyt because I needed a licensed driver with me(I was driving alone with a permit for years), showed me how to do that shyt on their course like once or twice and I got lucky and nailed it the first time, passed.

I can't parallel park to this day but somehow I nailed it that first try

What did you do?
There was an intersection right outside the testing office and it was 5pm on a weekday rush hour. We did some warmup turns in the lot, before starting the road test. Afterwards, I started inching into traffic, turning right , but got cold feet about a quarter of the way out of the lot. But then i regained my confidence , before losing it again shortly later when the oncoming traffic sped up as they saw me pulling out. But then i inched forward and then stopped again for a 3rd time.

After doing this jolting forward, then abrupt stoping motion for 10 seconds; i just decide to myself “oh , fck it! Im sure this will all work out” :troll:

And i immediatley gunned the engine. Feet all the way down on the accelerator, on some hail marry type of sht. Straight into 3 lanes of traffic:pachaha:

Tester looked at me like :dahell::why::damn:
