I'm trying to get a new laptop...mainly for studying, personal business things, and occassional streaming. Historically, I have purchased 15.6 inch screen laptop...but I'm considering...14 to 13.3 this time around.

What do yall have? Pros..and Cons?

I pretty much do all of the things you mentioned.

My first laptop was 15 inches but I downgraded to 13 inch when I decided to switch over to Mac.

Pros
-more portable
-looks more sleek imo

Cons
-don't have any

If you plan on being mobile with your laptop I'd suggest the 13 inch but if its strictly for home then perhaps you might consider sticking with the 15 inch.

houston.
13.3"

Very portable. It'll take some time to adjust to the screen size if you're coming from a 15", but overall its cool. No complaints :ehh:

bought a case the other day. Decided to go with a clear case. I've been rocking the black case for the past 4 years

15.6 inches is the most popular laptop screen size just in case you didn't know.

I have a 17 inch. It's an Dell Inspiron 1721 I've had since 2007. It's running Windows 8.1 Pro and I've upgraded the CPU to to 2.0 Ghz and the Ram to 4GB. Its so big there's space for another hard drive. I'm thinking of installing another HD and putting Linux on it so I can run either Linux or Windows.:banderas:

I like that wherever I go I pretty much got a desktop sized monitor but I don't like that I cant chill comfortably on my bed and use it because of the size. My next laptop will probably be in the size range you're considering.

Pros: Large screen for watching movies, Full Keyboard, Easily upgradable, Multiple USB, and S-Video

Cons: Uncomfortable while in bed

I love this laptop.:to:
