How many minutes do you give a movie/show you aren't feeling before checking out

Breh, i gave Dune a whole 45min before i had to call it. Pacing was garbage, but the hype to the movie made me want to keep going longer. I kept holding out for proper chemistry between cast or a real action scene but nothing came. Real simple sht like the "hand in the box/book scene" could have been done with more action or cast emotion, but nah.

For a non-hype movie probably 20min the i'll bounce.:whoa:

I sat through the whole thing :martin: Tried really hard to care for anything happening but got nothing.

Anywayh my threshold is usually

30 mins for a movie, less if the premise sounds ass
3-4 episodes for a show. Gave Apple's Invasion the :camby: after 4 episodes. A show about an alien invasion shouldn't be 90% family drama.

Movies used to be 25-30 mins. for tv shows I'll give it a few eps of a season to get it together unless it's flagrant early. Now opening scenes if the tone is off or the dialog wild corny I'm out immediately. Made it 10mins in to Birds of Prey before I dipped.

Also, I'm not watching anything rated under a 6 anyways, unless it's a sequel or I like the people in it.
