:patrice: are you all understanding the OP's question?

we learned how to read, write, math basics in elementary school.

I'm not using a damned thing I was taught in high school, what I learned in college pays the bills. :usure:

my high school had a typing class. I still use that skill.
Reading at a high school level is very important to my everyday life.
science & history stuff i don't use per say but i feel helps contribute to my overall intelligence so i not just completely clueless about the world around me.
Math could've stopped at algebra, and i say this as an Accountant. They should've replaced those with financial literacy classes, tax etc.
Spanish i could've used if i actually remembered it, should've started it in elementary. Highschool sex ed is my primary source of knowledge on anything sex related that you don't learn from watching porn.
