Meditation should be considered just as important as eating, drinking and sleeping. Not to mention exercise.
Lots of people may mock meditation as some boring, pointless religious nonsense. Yet this is far from true.
All is needed is to consider the fate of a battery that runs non stop without being charged..
The fate of your cell phone without every putting it down to be plugged in and charged
The fate of your cars engine without ever being shut off
the fate of your lap top without ever being plugged in and charged
OR how about the human being who doesnt sleep?
and so on ad infinitum
Rest is the the foundation for activity whether mental or physical
