I used to play Tenor sax....haven't picked one up in close to ten years though. I'm decent with all other woodwinds. Never picked up a brass. Suck on drums. Can't read piano or play formally but I can carry a tune.

Violin for about 6-7 years.

Same, violin since 5th grade, piano since I was 3 or 4, drums for around a decade, tuba for two years, and clarinet for a year.

My violin is sitting in the corner collecting dust.
I wanted a harp... but they were hundreds of dollars even for the cheap ones, so I bought a violin instead for like 75 bucks

But I don't like using the bow. I don't feel a personal connection with the instrument cause the bow is in between the user and the instrument.

I still want a harp so I can just wear robes and sit in an empty room and play music for the gods
This violin ain't doin it for me.

EDIT: violin is a beautiful instrument by the way, I just need something I can play with my hands for that spiritual level I'm tryna reach.
