As the nikka above said. Depends. Sometimes a nikka like ross and 50 will drop fire mixtapes before their album but then I'm sitting there listening to official drops and a track like gatman and Robin ft emeniem like wtf is this shyt. But I never wrote Ross or 50 off.

In this current era it probably only takes 1-2 years, which could range from 2-4 projects. I don’t need to listen to multiple Lil Baby, Polo G, 42 DUGG, or Roddy Ricch projects to stamp them as mid or ass.

Ye lost me after Life Of Pablo. Yeezus was gibberish but after that I haven't bothered with him. I gave him one last chance on Nasir because Nas is my fav MC but he completely lost me after that. It would take some Blueprint level type shyt with Jay or Nas or someone to get me listening to Kanye again.

Depends. Sometimes rappers drop fire and then mid (Lil Baby). Other times they are just up and down no matter what (Kodak). I used to at least try everything Ye drops but he lost me eventually. I refuse to listen to anything by Eminem.
