There were years where Horace Grant, Toni Kukoc, Dennis Rodman and Steve Kerr were great (if underappreciated) players in the league.

Hell, Grant's seasons in those first 3 Bulls titles were better than anything Kevin Love has done as a Cavalier.

It may be true that we look at the past thru rose-colored lenses but you understate the value of the players around Michael and Scottie.

None of those nikkas you mentioned besides maybe Rodmen could compare to Wade Kyrie And Bosh or Ray Allen. Maybe Love but that's it

The problem is a lot of people are focused on name and career legacy and not the context of the team/era.

It's easy to say Kukoc or Rodman or Grant or Kerr were mediocre or barely above average players. Because you have 25 years to look back on and say "They ain't all time greats..."

But on those teams, in those years, those so-called role players were playing at a very high level.

When Kukoc goes out there and puts up a WS/48 of .231, I don't care if you only see 13 PPG. That MF played tremendously well.

And??? Lebron played with players who are historically better than the nikkas Jordan played with and that's that. Wade by himself ranks above every nikka Jordan ever played with even Scottie. Kyrie is better than all those players and will rank above all of them except maybe Scottie but who knows. Ray Allen, the man who was considered arguably the GOAT 3 point shooter before Steph and Klay came into dominance? That same man who arguably saved Lebron from losing game 6 and tying the game everybody thought was all but over? Bosh is also ahead of all of them except maybe rodman and Scottie all time. What you saying doesn't make a sense anyways. It's about all time nikka Kukoc or Steve Kerr doesn't rank above, or ever played better than none of these nikkas except maybe, maybe Cavs love

Horace grant hasn't played at a superstar level since college

How the hell was he playing at a superstar level but he only made one all star team?

Kerr was nothing close to a "great" player

He was a one dimensional unathletic undersized guard who could hit open shots courtesy of the goat

Stop overrating Jordan's teammates
I couldn't believe what I was reading. LMAO@Horace Grant playing like a superstar. He gave you at most 15ppg and 10rpg. Steve Kerr couldn't even handle the ball. He was strictly a spot up shooter. I think a lot of these dudes pay too much attention to the inflated ratings on NBA 2K.

Bbbut his PPG!! :mjlol:

Same yesterday brain dudes who rate baseball players by batting averages.

The game has passed you by.
There is a better understanding and explanation of what went down on the court.

I just saw people giving love to Kerr on Facebook and had to look this up for myself. I knew Kerr wasn't that nice on the court, Kukoc was cool but he wasn't no damn all star lol. Rodman was great at what he did and you can't take that away from him but he wasn't no scorer. I think people are just naming Jordan's teammates just to say his teams had to be good to win all those games lol. I'm just enjoying reading all these arguments.

Teams win championships, breh. Michael Jordan was really good at basketball but I don't think he could beat any NBA team 1 on 12. :francis:

Well, maybe the expansion Grizzlies. :yeshrug:

But the coli and espn told me Lebron can and has :ohhh:.
