if they kept Westbrook, Harden and Durant together I say they would have at a minimum 3 rings right now, they would have been the warriors on steroids with 3 MVP caliber players. I would be on suicide watch if I was a Thunder fan.

Hindsight is 20/20 but okc Shoulda kept harden over westbrook.

Westbrook low iq dumb ass will never win anything and hardens a better playmaker, shooter, scorer and his game doesn't rely on athleticism

Kd and harden(in a bigger role) +ibaka woulda got to the finals by 2016

As much as he chokes when it matters most...probably none...

KD is better than him and even he couldn't stop[ choking until he went to an overwhelmingly stacked team...

Still should have tried though...they effectively had to choose between serge and harden and chose serge...

There a good chance if they keep harden, they probably would’ve traded Durant or Westbrook. It just wasn’t destined for them three to stay together thanks to shytty ownership

the ether
yes it is. Dwade and Lebrons play styles were very similar and didn't mesh and they still won 2 titles because they were more talented than everyone else. Talent trumps all in bball 90% of the time.
Dwade and Lebron (and Bosh) were high-IQ vets who changed their games to adjust to each other. They weren't the best fit, but they all did things to make it work in pretty much the best way possible considering their skill sets.

For Durant/Westbrook/Harden to succeed to the same extent, they'd have to be willing to do that. I don't see any evidence that Westbrook is or ever was, and when he's not willing it turns Durant off and Durant doesn't adjust either. On top of that, MVP Harden simply isn't MVP Harden when the playoffs roll around.

I think they win maybe one.

2013: Heat improved too much, would have taken them out again, plus Westbrook got hurt.
2014: Spurs were too good, that was their year. But considering that Derek Fisher played 122 minutes in that series and the Thunder still won twice...maybe this would be the year.
2015: Durant hurt, otherwise this would have been the Thunder year.
2016: As close as they were against the Warriors, I'd be afraid that Harden's defense would have killed everything they brought against the Warriors on that end. And if you're giving those extra shots to Harden, then who are you taking them away from? Westbrook ain't giving up his...so the bigs who were killing the Warriors in the first four games are the ones who are gonna be left out.
2017: Harden and Westbrook's Thunder wouldn't have a chance against Durant and Steph's Warriors.

nikka do yall forget injuries fukked them up and the two times they were 100 percent healthy Durant chocked against the Spurs in Game 6 in 2014 and then in 16 Warriors in Game 6

Yall forget Westbrook got his knee blasted in 13 by Beverly
in 14 Durant choked
in 15 Durant got injured and they missed the playoffs
in 16 Durant choked again

I mean yall are forgetting this part of the equation

:mjlol: Westbrook was up 3-1 against a 73-9 Golden State. Durant had other plans

the crazy thing about okc is they were getting better every year. :mindblown:

2009-10: lost in the first round
2010-11: lost in the WCF
2011-12: lost in the finals

THEN THEY BROKE IT UP. :mindblown:

Durant was 23 years old
Westbrook was 23 years old
Harden was 22 years old

:mindblown:

Allll was destroyed cause of Kendrick Perkins
