Dwyane Wade seemingly gets hurt every time he laces up his shoes and has to take 2 weeks off for "treatment."

Dude should just retire. Pitiful how much he's in and out of the lineup the last couple of years.

Be a pro athlete and not know how to stretch, brehs.

could easily chalk that up to recovery

doesn't really count as taking games off

I don't think that counts as taking games off cuz dude be legit injured. He do need to retire tho.

Is he really hurt to the point where he can't play 3 consecutive games, though?

Or is Miami just resting him because they know how frail he is?

I'm convinced it's the latter. This dude injures his knees, hamstrings, or gets a "bone bruise" every other week.

I refuse to believe he's actually been injured to the point he can't play the last 2 seasons to miss all those games. Dude is just coasting until the playoffs.

Kind of weird how "injuries" that keep D. Whistle out for 2 week stretches in the regular season don't prevent him from playing 30+ mins a game in the playoffs.

"can't play 3 consecutive games" ?
what are you talking about? the hamstring has been only issue this season for him, the fact that his knees have not bothered him at all is kind of a good sign if you're a heat fan, would much rather hamstring issue than a knee issue at this point. Wade's latest injury was due to players being out and him playing alot of mins in the 1st half, he played 20 mins before halftime in that game he went down

It's called hyperbole, breh. Exaggerating to make a point.

Dude misses A LOT of games. And the issues he has in the regular season that cause him to miss a decent chunk of games for multiple stretches seemingly have 0 effect on him in the playoffs. And if they do effect him, he can still play 30-40 mpg.

So you tell me what's going on. Either he says fukk it and can power through injuries and still play at a solid-high level in the playoffs every year, or he's cruising in the regular season...

It's a combination of both, imo. And that whole "lemme chill til the games matter" bullshyt is wack.

i would assume that wade is legit recovering from his injury but at the same time i know damn well he is not rushing to get back, when you look at the how this season is going you ask yourself, "what is there to play for?"

Do you go 110% these last 30 games when the outcome could easily be no playoffs just as easily it could be a 7th/8th seed + a first round exit? This team just has no talent to be competitive at this point, so what is there really to play for?

i don't think he's coasting the reg. season i think he just doesn't really want to go so hard when the season is hopeless and Riley has this so called master plan for free agency

can't really knock wade for that :yeshrug:

  • Dwyane Wade, no doubt.
  • Derrick Rose probably does too.
  • Melo too especially this year but he's been hobbling all year so he gets a pass
But as much as CHarles Barley talks sh!t i remember him taking days off to rest too that year he was in Houston. Granted he had back problems by then but still i clearly remember them saying Tomjonavich "decided to rest Barkley" for a game or two.

Same thing for SHaq. He admitted so himself on the TNT show one night.
