how much are these movies on netflix making?

folks keep saying that nate parker should have put b.o.a.n. on netflix and he would have gotten paid. then i've seen sited things like Beasts of No Nation as examples. Are netflix exclusives getting play like that? And how do they decide how much they get paid, just a percentage of views or some shyt?

I'm guessing its a % of views. They most likely have the data to see how many new subscribers emerged around the time a series came out as well
