I mean what was the whole reasoning behind that :mjlol:

Even had big men shooting 3's for no reason and these other players having career years behind the 3 :sadcam:

Imagine if they've kept it that way, how much torture steph curry would be shooting against these teams, he'd be considered GOD more than what he is now smh :scust:

They moved it in slightly for 3 seasons. But some jagaloons would have you believe it happened for like 10 years or some shyt.
The NBA was concerned about the lack of offense (or perhaps, the abundance of defense).
It was a misguided decision, regardless.

Three-point field goal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

During the 1994–95, 1995–96, and 1996–97 seasons, the NBA attempted to address decreased scoring by shortening the distance of the line from 23 feet, 9 inches (22 feet at the corners) to a uniform 22 feet (6.7 m) around the basket. From the 1997–98 season on, the NBA reverted the line to its original distance of 23 feet, 9 inches (22 feet at the corners).

Nah, it's been established that he can hit them damn near halfcourt now, wherever he goes there's going to be a shadow, he'd just stand where the old line was. You may as well call off the season if you moved the line in with the Warriors, the Warriors shooting threes that are corner three distance? Steph shoots 50 percent on the corner three to begin with, which is the distance the line was at when it was moved in.

shyt with the way teams are gunning and throwing up 3's now it almost seems like they should push the line back even further then it's at now. And this isn't a shot at Steph who actually hits his. But to see cats come up and jack up 10 or 12 3 pointers and maybe make 3 or 4 if they are lucky is not the game that I want to see. The 3 ball should be for what it was originally meant for. The best of the best when it comes to shooting the rock.
