This is off top of my head, so feel free to go look it up. Which season? '98-99 was a horrible season. Lockouts, and you saw the change in everything with numbers dipping and quality of play. That lasted a good 4-5 years.. First half of the 90's teams were at like 103ppg. Shooting like 46%. if anything early to mid '00's had the worst scoring.

Nikka please, if Jordan is shooting 40%+ from three and draining over 100 and Dennis Scott is setting three point records I could only imagine what Steph the G.O.A.T. shooter would do.

He already pulls up from 3-5 ft. behind the regular line anyway. He's draining 500 threes on 45%-50% 3PT with a shorter line.

The late 90's up to the mid-00's was a putrid era for NBA offense.

Thats why they shortened the 3 point shot.

"Dropped to 102" which means it was higher. And it's at 102 now. That Lockout year, I think it was 91 or some ridiculous number, went up to like 98 for the very next season and hovered around 95 for like the next 5 years or so. Early '00's were the absolute worst. And shooting in 90's was still at 45-46% and it has definitely has been lower. Which is exactly what I said in my first. Feel free to look it up, because I'm about to. They just reached 100ppg past 3 years but the entire '00's were....

im comparing it all to 1990.

shyt with the way teams are gunning and throwing up 3's now it almost seems like they should push the line back even further then it's at now. And this isn't a shot at Steph who actually hits his. But to see cats come up and jack up 10 or 12 3 pointers and maybe make 3 or 4 if they are lucky is not the game that I want to see. The 3 ball should be for what it was originally meant for. The best of the best when it comes to shooting the rock.

Players jumping from high school and leaving college early is more of a reason for that
