I just find it hard to believe that in this era of overly scripted generic promos and things like that, that this is the same guy who was in charge back in the 80's/early 90's days and then again in the Attitude era. In those days wrestlers had alot more freedom to really build their characters. Even if the writers just gave them an outline of what to say and had them wing the rest. I don't see why things nowadays have to be 100% scripted.
You would think when Vince looks at slacking ratings, fan disinterest at live televised shows, and even network subs, that he would see some areas for growth, which could come by loosening up the product a bit.
