How much do you care about preseason games?

I'm pretty excited to watch the hawks get on the field tonight although when I'm at the preseason games we never stay the whole time. Probably out of there by halftime to go drinking. But I got friends who are bigger football fans than me that don't give one fukk about preseason. What about you?

The only thing the preseason is good for is the injury watch.

I love it enough to sit down for 4 weeks and watch the back ups try their best. Basically wanting to see what all the new guys are about. And I study football so, I look at the game different then the casual fan

the only thing thats meaningful from preseason games is injuries.

I care a lot, even tho the majority of games are third & fourth stringers. For teams with important position battles, preseason is piff. Outside of the 4th game which is completely useless preseason is good for us football junkies

Mike Tirico made a good suggestion on how to fix the preseason:

2 scrimmages
2 preseason games

The 2 scrimmages are in cities or locations that don't normally have pro football so maybe college cities or medium sized cities near a pro franchise. Thoughts

I'm on the same boat. If football is on I"m watching. them backups be trying hard and you basically don't get to see them any other time.

I'll catch the Saints games, any other game I watch until the starters are pulled unless there is a player(Longhorn mostly, or any other player that has gained my interest) that I want to watch and see what they do.
