I've never been the type of person that was super obsessed with fashion. Went through a period in HS where I tried to fit in and chase whatever's trendy at the moment, wasting alot of $$ on trying to impress people who don't really care.
Looking acceptable is more important than wearing an expensive name brand or the latest trendy look. And that's obtainable whether you're spending thousands on clothes a year or getting your clearance sale/thrift store on.
50 cent is a perfect example of a rich dude who probably spends thousands on fashion and still can't dress. While ur random dude/broad who knows what he's/she's doing can clean up well just thrifting.

dont need fly clothes to get fly bytches.especially down here in SC.if u in the slightest bit handsome+tall you can get a bad bytch wit a hole in your shirt and stains on it.jus sayin
i get bad bytches in b-ball shorts or sweats with some nike slides and a white tee.
i only was getting fresh for the bytches.i didnt give one fukk about clothes.always love and respect my shoe game though

Both of these. I definitely try not to look like I just stepped out of 2002 and try not to rock dirty shoes, but I don’t follow brand names at all.
Yeah I care a lot. Some may think too much but feel good look and I’ve always been a fly nikka from as long as I remember. But I never try to be too trendy because I know that shyt will only last a year so I stay fly with my own unique style so I stand out more compared to trendy fly nikkas because they all look the same.

I care enough to look nice, but not enough to go into debt. If you shop smart, you can have a wardrobe that works year after year, and buy quality clothes that last on sale.
