How much do you usually put in your car when getting gas?

i usually wait until im around halfway between empty and a quarter and then i just throw a $20 in everytime which gets me just over half a tank and last about 2-3 days depending on where im working

nothing is worse than seeing the meter get below a quarter knowing your traveling is limited. i hate throwing more than $20 at a time id rather do an extra stop during the week then put in a lot at once for some reason

Always fill it up when the "50 Miles Till Empty" indicator pops up. I can't lie, I when I pull up to the pump and see the last dude got $3.00 worth of gas. I wonder if he charged it or took the walk of shame inside and said "$3 on pump 5."

I've done the bolded before. That's all the cash I had on me, and it got me enough gas to get home.

But i usually put in about $10-$20. I don't wanna fill up because a day later, I could get more for less.

i put 40 in it to fill it up, and i reset my mileage to 0 when i do. then when i get to around 220-240 miles i fill it back up again

Fill up on payday. And I usually make it all the way to the next payday

I always fill up. I wait until it tells me low fuel range and then I hit the Gas Buddy app to find the cheapest gas I can get. Usually between $50-$55 dollars.
