As far as your girl goes it varies.

1. Some men like to feel in power so they go for women that are weak. Either mentally or economically because they feel the need to be with a woman that NEEDS them.
2. Some men look for a partner. As in someone that is equally capable as them.
3. Some men look for a mother. A wife to run their lives.
4. Etc

Many many varieties out there. Just find one that suits you. I find myself atrracted to strong women for the most part. I cant do needy chicks so #1 doesnt work for me.

I mean, at the most basic level, it's a measure of that individual's decision making capabilities. I knew a military cat, was young and doing really well for himself, seemed like he had everything figured out. His chick though was the most disrespectful, nasty chick I've ever come across...thought she was special cause she worked at a hospital (you know the type). You would look at the two and wonder why on Earth is he with her? Dude thought that he had a special place in her heart because he never did HIM like that. Dude went on deployment came back and his whole crib was cleaned out. I didn't even know what to tell him. He riding around with his boys trying to find her and beat her up, just charge it to the game.
