How much gaming do you think you'll be doing when retired?

As adults, we really can't game much. Work, gym, family, cleaning, and cooking. Gaming for 1 hour a day feels like too much. Even on the weekends you don't want to game because it's really the only free time you have.

I got to thinking how much time I'd have on my hands if I didn't have a commute and 9 to 5. After a 6 am gym/cardio session, I'd probably be gaming 3 hours a day easy. Still have plenty of time to do other things.

Only 1 hour a day is madness to me. Even when I was working full time whilst doing school and married with kids, I could get more than that in.

Upon retirement tho, gaming will be the new job. That's how much time I will put int, more than likely. Just gaming and maybe travelling here and there. Travelling kinda annoying tho tbh.

As in actually retired?
As in home not doing anything?
I'm averaging half a day at minimum and I'm prolly going to try my hand at honest streaming while I'm doing it too.
However I'd go the :flabbynsick: and play all the old Nes,PSX,Ps2, type rpgs and games that grew me as a gamer during my formative years.
Like I could honestly see myself playing through the whole of Final Fantasy 8/Vagrant Story/Saga Frontier 1/2, Star Ocean 2 on stream and be happy as shyt to show the world about it.

Don't even game now. Have a good 30 or so games i bought and was going to play. Have probably 300 or so of the free epic games titles.
Never started any of them. Been like this for a few years.

I've seen a few older/elderly streamers that the Internet took to, but I honestly think playing games that aren't in contention for GOTY or directly tied to anything with expectations/criticisms in the current realm of gaming, would add a certain charm to the whole process rather than having to compete with a stream of compromised talking heads and grifters who currently inhabit online gaming journalism.
shyt, the passion (pause) I have for formative experiences such as Star Fox 64, Brave Fencer Musashi and Vagrant story alone is enough to endear such reverence to a select audience alone, 'cause those experiences are what shaped me as a gamer today :wow:

ZERO - I have good health, a Toyota Sequoia 4X4, GPS, a passport, a cache of flyer miles, almost tri-lingual and a decent personality. I'm hittin' them streets, back roads, beaches, national parks, and continents.
