How much hidden talent do you think is in the D League right now?

it's not like d league has plenty of talent it's just in general there are a lotta players that need that one opportunity to shine, you got bunch of guys sitting on the bench that could put up galloway stats on the knicks team.
hassan is another example, didn't he get drafted by the kings?

A better question is how many guys are at the end of NBA benches that could contribute greatly to another team... it's just like in life in general, a lot of people just need the right opportunity/situation for themselves to shine.

ATL…overly
So how well do y'all think the D-League All Stars would do in a game vs. the Knicks or T-Wolves? Win or nah? :patrice:

A lot of talent in Basketball right now. If you watch the DL in 2004 and compare it to today, it's night and day different. Guys who was 8-11th man in the NBA in 2004 would be bench warmers in 2015. While the best players in NBA hasn't changed much in terms of talent, the depth of the game today is night and day better.

Lose to both teams handly. The T-Wolves are a decent NBA team when healthy and the Knicks really fit now than they did a couple of months ago but they lack a shytload of talent. Look at Giannis brother, he can play. Guys in the DL today would be borderline starters in 2004. Remember when the Hawks had Emmanuel Davis starting and played Chris Crawford. Those guys were scrubs without NBA talent.

@Damnshow said it best, its just them needing a chance to shine as well as being on the right team and right system. Not saying the D League is littered with untapped NBA all stars, but im sure there are probably quote a few players who would be quality nba players...
Agreed. Some are guys who came out far too soon and wasn't ready like Marquis Teague, some were undersized guys who needed more development and some just needed the right fit and exposure like Galloway.

there's probably a few guys who can contribute, but i wouldn't say there is a abundance of talent. if there was i feel like the players wouldn't be in the d-league.

huh you make no sense...an nba roster only allows 15 under contract and 12 allow 2 dress. You tryna to tell me only 360 people in the world are good enough to play in the NBA. nikka there is 7 Billion people.

Its not hidden talent it is just a matter of opportunity. You don't think there is a point guard out there in the D league that can shoot 37% from the field and start in the NBA?Cuz there are plenty of guards doing that right now in the NBA

Guys that I think that can play right now in the league

Quincy Miller
Semaj Christion
Seth Curry
