My wife and I are attending a wedding on Saturday....they're her close friends.

Is $75 ($150 as a couple) from each of us enough?

Back in 2018, I was apart of and/or attented 11 weddings.


Shiit fukked up my wallet being groomsman twice and a best man.


Each wedding I attended, several out of town... from 100 - 300 cash gift... depending on my proximity to the couple.


I hate being perceived as cheap, so a Benji is minimum.


Went to two weddings this summer, 300 went to my cousin (that was in cali) and a coworker's son got 100 from me (local, so no biggie).

i think it depends on the culture honestly. im going to a jewish wedding to a colombian. i think giving 100 to the jewish rich guy is petty, and all the colombian weddings ive been to never had gifts.

but, its out of town so i think they'll just be glad i showed up honestly lol
