Dude already has 27 pts at halftime vs the Thunder and the minute he goes to the bench the Kings look like shyt and when he checks back in their competitive again. 4 years 36-44 mil extension is what I'm guessing might get more from the desperate Kings though:ld:

Undersized scoring guards aren't compensated well in the league. They damn sure don't make 9to 11 mill a year like u suggestin. His best case scenario is around the mle. But then again Sacramento gave chuck Hayes 5 mill a year...

Ty Lawson is 5'11 and he got 4 years 48 mil. I know Isaiah is small but this dude can ball. It wouldn't surprise me if he got around 8 mil a year.

Unless he becomes a much better facilitator and less trigger happy he's best served as a elite sixth man ...So MLE is about right

Yeah brut Lawson is bigger and taller than IT and he does more than IT. He's a better facilitator and playmaker than IT.

Him waving off Demarcus cousins isnt going help him get more money. That comes off as egotistical and not team oriented.

He's a great player off the bench, the Kings are either worst in the league or 2nd worst in the league when it comes to defending opposing PGs. As much as he'll give you on offense, chances are he's giving up more on defense.
Whose the other team that's causing you to conflict about this:sadcam:

Thomas would be a great as a 6th man who comes in and just focuses on offense, sometimes he's his own worst enemy and he thinks the offense should run through him and he'll freeze out Cuz and Gay. When he has to guard bigger players, he gets ate up on defensive side of the ball. I still remember he tried taking Evans on in when the played the Pels and Reke looked at him like :rudy: when he tried to D him up and Reke bopped him for like 25-11-8.

If he would take a role as a 6th man, I'd give him 5/37

U would give that much for a bench player never mind the fact that is a undersize big. I wouldn't dare give him more than 4.5 mill a year and it wouldn't be long term.

It'd be tough to give him that, but to me he could be a 6th man of the year candidate every year. Is it overpaying yeah, but sometimes you gotta overpay a bit, especially if you're a small market team

The kings have gaps in their starting lineup they need to fix before they overpay in bench players
True, but they think he's a starter. Me personally, I would of kept Reke and put him at the PG spot and have IT as the 6th. If i'm the Kings and I get a top 5 pick, I'm taking Smart if Embiid or the Duke cat ain't their.
