How Much NXT Performers Are Paid

Last week The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported an NXT performers pay to be around $25,000.

In an update, they’re now reporting that figure to be only for some performers who might come from the indies or have little experience. There are a considerable amount of talents reportedly $50,000 or more to accommodate them with their living expenses while on the busy training schedule. Some talents who come in with six-figure backgrounds as football players also get higher NXT pay to help ease the adjustment of career.

The overall mean pay is reported to be $45,000.

Thanks for posting that. I was just wondering about guys who get released out of development without making it to the WWE or guys who get called up for a little bit then dumped. Would they have been able to make a decent amount of money? I also wonder if they can parlay that into a decent indy career? Like can you command a good indy payday on just having been featured on NXT?
