I was coming out of my apartment like an hour ago and this old lady that lives beneath me was going in. She was 76 and had a walker and everything. She stopped me and asked me my name and said that she knew everyone in the building but me. Then I asked her if she knew who drove this white chevy that was parked in my spot last night. We have assigned spots based on apt number. This person previously parked there before and i left a note on their windshield, but last night there they were again. She said that she did know and then said 'but why would you bytch about that, you are a man, it is a girl driving it. What if she had to park a couple buildings down and got raped?' I just stared at her in disbelief. And she went on for like a full minute about how i shouldn't care if the girl uses my spot and that if anything happens to any of the women in the building then she will be sure to tell the cops about me :dahell:

So was i in the wrong here? I don't think so. I am paying for the shyt and if all the spots are taken, i ain't trying to be walking blocks to get to my house cause folks can't follow the rules. Also, do ya'll think we are supposed to be 'looking out' for women like that in this day and age, when they are supposed to be all independent and shyt?

No. Your duty as a man isn't to be a subservient lapdog, especially in the face of disrespect.
She knows that's your spot and parked there anyway, which is her essentially telling you to fukk off.
You have assigned parking and if she violates it again, you should consider reporting the incident.
A pregnant woman needing a seat on a bus or train is one thing. This is another.
No woman on earth is entitled to your accommodations sans your mother, wife, or daughter.

I just setttled a discrimination lawsuit. The suit was because of sexism. I was a male nurse in a hospital, who was hurt doing something that wasnt part of my job description. This was the second time they were caught with me. They had to pay.

what was the story

what was the story
When i was first hired, they made a point to give me 3 or 4 more patients than the female nurses. I later pulled a muscle in my neck. I was then given an officr job. New management came in and even though i was an administrator, they had me doing my old tasks. My back was later ruined. Ive been unemployed for the last year and a half waiting for my check to come.

is this real?

i probably woulda told that old lady to eat a dikk.

You don't have to give up your space. But if there is other spots open stressing it might seem petty.
