I was coming out of my apartment like an hour ago and this old lady that lives beneath me was going in. She was 76 and had a walker and everything. She stopped me and asked me my name and said that she knew everyone in the building but me. Then I asked her if she knew who drove this white chevy that was parked in my spot last night. We have assigned spots based on apt number. This person previously parked there before and i left a note on their windshield, but last night there they were again. She said that she did know and then said 'but why would you bytch about that, you are a man, it is a girl driving it. What if she had to park a couple buildings down and got raped?' I just stared at her in disbelief. And she went on for like a full minute about how i shouldn't care if the girl uses my spot and that if anything happens to any of the women in the building then she will be sure to tell the cops about me :dahell:

So was i in the wrong here? I don't think so. I am paying for the shyt and if all the spots are taken, i ain't trying to be walking blocks to get to my house cause folks can't follow the rules. Also, do ya'll think we are supposed to be 'looking out' for women like that in this day and age, when they are supposed to be all independent and shyt?

Real talk, some men let a lot of shyt women do slide in the hope that they can smash one day. It's just that some women then get the impression that all men are willing to let the same shyt slide, which is false.

You are not being selfish by wanting to park in the parking spot that you are assigned to. The woman in question knows this is your parking spot yet continues to park there and that is disrespectful. The elderly lady was being rude too.

You done the right thing by leaving notes and getting management involved. So coming from a woman I don't think it's right for other women to go "well what if it was late and she had to walk and she got hurt or raped." Did they ever stop to think you could get mugged or hurt yourself? But I guess that doesn't matter because you are a man.

All I can say is you are better than me... Because I would be pitching a royal bytch!

I woulda been like umm lady she wants to be equal right. Let her ass be independent and find her own damn parking spot. I'm not responsible for her well being.
