how much time does a championship buy a team in regards to future expectations?

The Ravens are trash this year, but they won it all last year.

does any of that mean anything for the fans TODAY??

I don't think you can live off of a past championships unless you are still playing and had a dynasty of 3 or more titles, or you retired. That's it.

I hate those teams you mentioned but to be fair in a league like the nfl where teams change rosters over drastically year to year and unless you have a Mannign or Brady its impossible to be good every year winning two titles in a short time span in the nfl is pretty damn impressive and if i were a fan i would be good for a long ass time

The NFL is so different, between injuries, roster changes, the impact a bust draft pick bust can have, and just the any given Sunday nature of the game, you do buy a pass. Ravens are 3-2 and where they should be, they weren't beasts last year, they just were destined come the post season, the giants also, except for two seasons with Eli, have never been consistent 12+ win teams, they also haven't been this abysmal so they deserve time to correct, Pitt as well. The NFL doesn't assure greatness season after season, but I think teams need at least two full seasons - the season they suck and the season after to see if they've improved, after that it's open season IMO (tho I think three seasons is more reasonable)

3-5 years (depending on the severity of how bad the teams playing, for example if the Giants suck dikk next year, the year after is when nikkas can start talking about jobs being taken). Yall dont realize how difficult it is to win a ring, everything gotta be clicking at the right time. IT's franchises that's been in the L how long and still havent even been to a SB.

And how are the Ravens trash?? They're 3-2 and are at the top of their division. Bad bills loss (only by 3) and another loss to possibly the best team in the L faaaar from trash
