How often do you cut a haircut?

Ive always gone 2 weeks but I recently went to the bald fade with waves and my Shii is lookingafter one week. My cut is damn near on life support

I used to get a lineup every week in HS when I grew it out for a year and a half, but is getting a fade every week too much?

Can a hairline withstand a cut every week or will it get pushed back

If you're barber knows what he's doing, and your hair grows back fairly quickly, you should be fine going weekly.
Personally, it'd be cheaper if you just copped some Wahl clippers or some Andis liners (or a Bevel trimmer ) and just freshened your own line up weekly.
Still hit up the barber every three weeks to a month to maintain, but by month two you should be saving money.
One kid in my class had a father who was a barber and would keep his cut up every 5 days or so, and his hairlines has been exactly the same, permanently clean, for the last six years.
I go every three weeks to a month, but I'm in Wolf mode getting these waves together, so I'm in a different situation.

Once a month if I feel like it. It's been mostly random but I usually go when I feel it takes too much energy to wash my hair lol

I've had the same barber since high school. 29 now and hairline still on point.
