Yeah most of that stuff reads like it was written by suburban white kids. Maybe like 40% of it is reasonably on point and a lot of that was already obvious, so there's only a few jewels on there worth checking out. I do use the site a lot to just read lyrics though cause I like the layout

Never. Lyrics sites never have the right lyrics for songs. So having a lyrics website also try to break down the meaning of lyrics they probably won't even get correct in the first place is pretty pointless
Almost never....sometimes I can't hear a word correctly, or it's slurred, or something like that....but if someone is needing that to figure out lyrics, it's questionable why the fukk you are listening to the music.....I used to read OHHLA back in 2000/2001, because some songs I only could see the lyrics too, or saw the edited version on TV, like Shyne 'Bad Boyz', but I didn't need it to understand the context and intent of the lyrics.

Sometimes I wonder if whomever puts lyrics up on those sites actually listens to the music, because sometimes I'm wondering how in the world they got what they got. If you simply listen to the music and write down what you hear, I don't know how it's possible to get the lyrics to a song wrong.

“Jurassic Gas” could be a way of saying “fossil fuels”, which can be released by melting plastic. Ghost is thinking on a deeper level, saying while the benefits of materials like plastic draw us in, they will harm us in the end when the earth becomes too polluted. Once in a while just for mumble raps or another pair of ears to verify what i hear, but you can't trust them annotations lmao. white folks doin WAY TOO MUCH "decipherin" lyrics. Some shyt if you know, you know.

That site is made by and for suburban white boys. They dont even have lyrics for a lot of the music I listen to
Don't think I've done that before, go on there and look at lyrics sometimes and am glad it's there but normally don't really need anything decoded as can do for myself. I'm glad it's there for others though, dope idea and probably helps people understand shyt better and hopefully appreciate lyrics more.

the most recent one i looked up is rocky's m's where wayne got the golf cart line. i looked to see what them dumb motherfukkers had to say about the shyt. talking about some clothing line or some shyt. they try too hard, thinking simple ass lyrics be deep as fukk. i mean half the fukking annotations read like art barr posts
