How often do you upgrade your car? Lease or own?

I have had the same car since 2012.
Im on this frugal/minimalist lifestyle so i do not plan to upgrade because I rather own this and have no car payment to be honest. But what about yall?

Got about 6 or 7 grand left on mine. Paying it off within this year hopefully. Got my eye on something so idk. Don't really want another note but I want a car got a SUV now
