How old were you when you saw your first incident of serious violence?

And how did it make you feel?

The first time i saw "serious" violence was a dude get robbed and shanked, I was about 11. A older dude was trying to take this other older dudes hat in a alley behind my house. The one who was fighting the other one off got stabbed, dude took his hat and ran up the alley.

I was walking past the alley solo headed around the corner to where my peoples was posted up. When i saw what was happening i just stopped, watched it and kept it moving to my peoples when the dude ran away.

I told my peoples and we all went back to the alley so they could see the stabbed dude (who wasn't dead). One of my homeboys went back around the corner to get his mother who came to help the dude while the ambulance arrived.

We bounced somewhere after she was helping him and never really thought much about the incident after that.

Around that time I remember seeing a nikka i used to look up to from a local crew sic a rotteweiller on a nikka.....

I aint get to watch much of that because i was walking to the car with my mother at the time.....

saw him put the dog on yo tho....

It made me feel (from what i can remember) like i wanted to stay and see what happended

First homocide where i knew the nikkas who got shot was when i was about 12 or 13....

NY nikka shot up 2 nikkas from my neighborhood real bad.....

one who got hit up like 9 times "Blue" survived.....

the other one "JR" died.........

I aint see it, i was in the crib....

but it happended right up the street, so i heard the shots clearly......and when i came out afterwards nikkas told me what it was.

Made me feel like "dam...that's crazy"

it wasnt really violence it was the aftermath. i was about 10 and we used to walk thru the woods to get to the rec center and one day i walked up on a dead body. it fucced me up for a while, i stopped going to the rec center cuz i didnt wanna walk thru them woods any more.

Completely random I think, but I can't really call it didn't have enough information. It was also covered up because of where it happened. There was no adult supervision and there should've been. Tbh I think my brain blocked out what happened after because i can never remember what happened after the attack. I remember only things like 1 year later or more. Not too long after I bust a nikkaz skull open with a rock he tried to rob my casio watch he was like 12-13+ I was 6.

when i was in like 5th grade my brother got banked real bad to the point he got put in the hospital. This was before i was hanging out or even wanted to. That shyt made me cry.

My brother homeboys didnt help him...........suckas
