Some observations:

- Black artists dominated 2003. I may have to go back and grab the 1993 chart, because I remember Black artists dominated that year too.

- It's crazy to see the jump OutKast made in the five years between 1998-2003. They still had a presence on the charts as late as 2008 in the form of Andre 3000's feature on John Legend's "Green Light"

- 2Pac's staying power. He had songs on the 1998, 2003, and 2008 charts.

- Slept on artists like Mya having songs on both the 1998 and 2003 charts.

- The longevity of Jay Z seeing he had huge songs in each list except 2023.

- The 2023 chart being dominated by old Christmas songs.

2003 was when the south officially took over chart wise. So black culture was at an all time high within the main stream, I thought it was interesting seeing chingy, beyonce, chart 2 songs in the hot 100.

my take on 2023 Decemeber charts is that no more major artist aren't going to be dropping in Decemeber because of the Chirstmas songs.

Nicki lost momentum by doing that.
