If it's his first time getting locked up for drugs then he should be straight, unless he got caught with a serious amount of work. He'll probably get PTI and have to do 6 months to a maybe a few years on un supervised probation, go to some classes and do x amount of hours of community service. I don't know anyone who has gotten sent down the road on they first time getting hemmed up for work. Now if he moving serious numbers then that's another story. If he is in Cobb County GA that's a different story too. They always overcharge the fukk out your ass to avoid going to trial to try to make you take that plea. Him not being a citizen may get INS involved. That depends on what jurisdiction he in and how "on it" they are with the paperwork. A lot of them folks working in the system are lazy and they not taking the time to bind that shyt over to another agency or jurisdiction
