I've never been to Houston, but been to Dallas several times and enjoy it. How similar are the two cities, though, and what are the notable contrasts between them?

			so dallas wins?They aren’t.
Houston ppl are cool and laidback as hell.
Better food.
Dielas, niccas are either extremely hood or c00ns.
Dallas women are ALOT more ratchet too.
Dallas cacs are more racist, by a pretty good margin too.
Mexicans are Mexicans.
The ones in Houston act “‘more blk”
Houston has better loocn women
Dallas better loocn trehs

Shopping : 20 years ago it’s easily Dallas. Now it’s a wash.Dallas is more prone to tornadoes, Houston to hurricanes. Which would yall say has better weather?
In terms of normal, every day shyt to do, how comparable is shopping, museums, parks, entertainment between the two?
Appreciate the breakdown! (From everyone else too)...Shopping : 20 years ago it’s easily Dallas. Now it’s a wash.
Museums : Houston
Parks: tie. Both having good parks in and around the core and parts of the city.
Entertainment: Houston
Weather: wash. Houston is cool but with more humidity. Also rains more there. Dallas is “drier” but has higher temperatures and yes, prone to stronger tornadoes however Harris County receives the 2nd most tornadoes out of any county in the nation.
Dallas - more family oriented with a diverse economy while Houston is better for singles, big energy hub with a fast growing medical industry . The actual cities themselves are pretty distinct from each other. But the suburbs of both look the same. Except the woodlands. I can’t really find an equivalent to the woodlands in DFW.
