What's funny? A lot of people say he's dope but don't like a lot of his deep/relationship themed content, his new album doesn't feature heavy in both.

Glad that "let's pretend to give a fukk about buddens" run of a couple months ago passed . ..he should just give up on the rap shyt and go full in on the value brand Charlemagne shtick
He's absolutly terrible at making appealing music

I'm a Budden fan, he makes good music, he's good lyrically, but I wouldn't retweet anything for anyone. I'll buy his album and go to his show in my city though.
I think (and maybe this is a copout...I really don't care) his fans are "less attention seeking" than other types of fans. There are a ton of people who the minute you get in their car they are instantly trying to put you on the new Future or Drake (I'm fans of both) but I don't think Budden fans are the "attention seeking- I'm gonna retweet my favorite artist - look at me" type of people. His music is good but it's not "catchy" so it doesn't really follow a mainstream trajectory.

I agree most of his commercial attempts are weak, but I never said this album was gonna be that kinda album either? He tried that with No Love Lost and it was his worst project, this one is simple..dope rhymes over dope beats from a dope producer, Joe and Araabs version of pryhme basically.
