On a good day in his prime he was probably a shade under 7 foot. So while they embellished a bit they weren't that far off especially if he had lifts in his shoes to help too. Can you just imagine running into him in a dark alley late night? With that height and mass along with that deep ass voice it would probably be enough to think you are looking at the Incredible Hulk or some shyt.
